The Trips were a 60s-70s garage and classic rock tribute band from Memphis, TN, the birthplace of rock and roll, that existed in various incarnations and with various members from Mar. 07-Dec. 09. Our songs covered the 15-year period in British and American rock from 1964-78, and included bands like the Stones, Animals, Yardbirds, Kinks, Who, Cream, Badfinger, Free, Cheap Trick, Tom Petty, and the Cars.

We've gone into hiatus, as members pursue other projects. In the meantime, we're leaving the site up so visitors can enjoy our final rocking rehearsal tapes recorded on a pocket recorder in a real garage in Sept.-Dec. 2009.  Click on the double-arrow forward button to hear a bunch of great songs!  Crank up the volume!  We sound best LOUD.
